Mediator
In each mediation, Hansa invites clients to co-create a mutual process that fits their needs and values. Using a mindfulness-based mediation and equity-centered mediation framework, she guides participants to discuss how to work collaboratively, surface what matters most to each person, and explore how conflict can become an opportunity to transform relationships, build trust, and deepen understanding. Her trauma-informed mediation practices support safety, dignity, and culturally responsive mediation throughout the process.
As an attorney mediator with extensive child-welfare and family law experience, Hansa has supported parents and children in cases involving abuse allegations, adoption, termination of parental rights, custody, visitation, sibling and de facto parent rights, relative placement, educational advocacy, and access to mental health services. That legal background strengthens her role as a conflict resolution attorney and informs compassionate, legally informed mediation for families facing high-stakes, emotionally complex matters.
Hansa’s mediation work with Conflict Intervention Services at the San Francisco Bar Association includes landlord-tenant mediations and cross-sector facilitation that prevented homelessness and fostered sustainable solutions. She brings conflict intervention services to housing organizations, property managers, service providers, and local agencies, centering restorative conflict resolution and equity in community-based disputes.
